PROCEDURE
REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY LH

Remove in this Direction (1) |

Remove in this Direction (3) |
Pull in the direction indicated by the arrow (1) in the illustration, lift up the front end portion of the rear seat cushion assembly LH to disengage the rear seat cushion lock hooks.
Note
To avoid deforming the cushion frame, lift the cushion by holding the area close to the rear seat cushion lock hooks.
Disconnect the connector.
While pushing in the direction indicated by the arrow (2) in the illustration, disengage the hook at the rear of the rear seat cushion frame.
Pull in the direction indicated by the arrow (3) in the illustration, pull out the rear seat inner LH from the belt slit of the rear seat cushion assembly LH to remove the rear seat cushion assembly LH.

Tech Tips
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
REMOVE UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY
REMOVE CONSOLE BOX CARPET
REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX
REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY

Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, disengage the claw to open the cap of the rear seat shoulder belt guide.
Tech Tips
Use the same procedure to open all the caps of the rear seat shoulder belt guides.
Disconnect the connector.
Disengage the hook and loop fastener to separate the rear seat 3-point type outer belt assembly RH and rear seat 3-point type outer belt assembly LH.
Remove the 4 bolts.

Lift up in the direction indicated by the arrow (1) in the illustration to disengage the guides.
Pull in the direction indicated by the arrow (2) in the illustration to remove the rear seatback assembly.
Note
When moving the rear seatback assembly into the vehicle, perform the work with at least 2 people.
Be careful not to damage or scratch the vehicle body or body interior.
Do not damage the vehicle.
REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION LOCK HOOK

Pull in the direction indicated by the arrows in the illustration, disengage the claws to remove the 2 rear seat cushion lock hooks.

Use the same procedure for both sides.
