  • Use the same procedure for the driver and front passenger sides.

  • The procedure described below is for the driver side.

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE SEAT POSITION AIRBAG SENSOR (for Driver Side)

  2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH (for Driver Side)

    Click here

  3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH (for Front Passenger Side)

    Click here

  4. REMOVE SEAT ADJUSTER COVER CAP


    1. A01MIPP

      Remove the 2 seat adjuster cover caps.

  5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LEG COVER

      B006JHL Remove in this Direction (2)

      Pull in the direction indicated by the arrow (1) in the illustration to disengage the claws.

    2. Pull in the direction indicated by the arrow (2) in the illustration, disengage the guide, to remove the front seat leg cover.

  6. REMOVE FRONT INNER NO. 1 SEAT CUSHION SHIELD

      Remove the screw.

    2. Pull in the direction indicated by the arrow (1) in the illustration to disengage the claw.

    3. Pull in the direction indicated by the arrow (2) in the illustration, disengage the guides and clip, to remove the front inner No. 1 seat cushion shield inner.

  7. REMOVE RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

      Using a moulding remover A, push in the direction indicated by the arrows in the illustration, disengage the claws, to remove the power seat switch knob (for reclining).

  8. REMOVE SLIDE AND VERTICAL POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

      Using a moulding remover A, push in the direction indicated by the arrows in the illustration to disengage the claws.

    2. A01MJHPC01
      B006JFV Remove in this Direction

      Using a moulding remover A, push in the direction indicated by the arrows in the illustration, disengage the claws, to remove the power seat switch knob (for slide and vertical).

  9. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD

      Pull in the direction indicated by the arrow (1) in the illustration to disengage the clip and guide.

    2. Pull in the direction indicated by the arrow (2) in the illustration to disengage the claws and guides.

    3. Lift up in the direction indicated by the arrow (3) in the illustration, disengage the claws and guides, to remove the front seat cushion shield.

      Disconnect the connector.

    5. Disengage the clamps.

    6. A01MJCM

      Disengage the claws to open the wire harness cover.

    7. for Driver Side:


      1. Disconnect the 2 connectors.

    8. for Front Passenger Side:


      1. Disconnect the connector.

    9. A01MJZT

      Disconnect the connector.

  10. REMOVE POSITION CONTROL ECU AND SWITCH ASSEMBLY

  11. REMOVE POWER SEAT SWITCH ASSEMBLY

  12. REMOVE FRONT INNER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD

      Pull in the direction indicated by the arrow (1) in the illustration to disengage the claws and guides.

    2. Pull in the direction indicated by the arrow (2) in the illustration, disengage the claws and guides, to remove the front inner seat cushion shield.

  13. DISCONNECT FRONT SEAT BACK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01MFWL

      Disconnect the rubber band of the front seat backboard sub-assembly.

    2. A01MFUZ

      Disconnect the 2 connectors.

    3. Disengage the clamps.

  14. REMOVE FRONT SEAT WIRE


    1. A01MITR

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Disengage the clamp.

    3. A01MGDT

      Disengage the clamps to disconnect the front seat airbag wire.

    4. A01MG59

      Disengage the clamps to disconnect the front seat wire.

    5. A01MG94

      Disconnect the 2 connectors.

    6. Disengage the clamps to remove the front seat wire.

  15. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION WITH COVER PAD

      for Front Passenger Side:


      1. Disengage the clamp to disconnect the connector.

    2. A01MFLW

      Disengage the hooks to remove the front seat cushion with cover pad.

  16. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION AIRBAG ASSEMBLY (for Front Passenger Side)

  17. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR

      B000ZUW Double-sided Tape

      Disengage the guides, to peel off the double-sided tape to remove the front seat cushion edge protector.

  18. REMOVE FRONT SEAT BACK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. A01MFZ3C02
      B006JFV Remove in this Direction (1)
      B006JHL Remove in this Direction (2)

      Raise up in the direction indicated by the arrow (1) in the illustration.

    3. Push in the direction indicated by the arrow (2) in the illustration, disengage the guides to remove the front seat back board sub-assembly.

  19. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT

      Disconnect the wire harness from the guide.

      Disengage the J hooks while rotating in the direction indicated by the arrows in the illustration, separate the front seatback with cover pad.

      Pull in the direction indicated by the arrows in the illustration, disengage the claws to remove the 2 front seat headrest supports.

  20. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK WITH COVER PAD

      Remove the 2 nuts to disconnect the 2 front seatback cover brackets.

      B006JHL Remove in this Direction (2)

      Pull out the rear end portion of the front seatback with cover pad in the direction indicated by the arrow (1) in the illustration.

    3. Lift up in the direction indicated by the arrow (2) in the illustration to remove the front seatback with cover pad.

      Remove the front seatback protector.

  21. REMOVE FRONT SEAT AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

  22. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 SEAT WIRE

      Disconnect the 2 connectors.

    2. Disengage the clamps to remove the front No. 2 seat wire

  23. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH

      Lift up in the direction indicated by the arrow (1) in the illustration to disengage the guides.

    2. Pull down in the direction shown by the arrow (2) in the illustration, disengage the guides to remove the reclining adjuster inside cover LH.

  24. REMOVE FRONT LOWER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH

      Remove the clip.

    2. Pull in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration to disengage the guide.

      Pull in the direction indicated by the arrow (1) in the illustration to remove the clip.

    4. Pull in the direction indicated by the arrow (2) in the illustration to remove the front lower seat cushion shield LH.

  25. REMOVE FRONT LOWER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD RH

      Remove the screw.

    2. Pull in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration to disengage the guide.

      Pull in the direction indicated by the arrow (1) in the illustration to remove the clip.

    4. Pull in the direction indicated by the arrow (2) in the illustration to remove the front lower seat cushion shield RH.

  26. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR LH

      Remove the screw.

    2. While rotating in the direction indicated by the arrow (1) in the illustration, disengage the claw.

    3. Pull in the direction indicated by the arrow (2) in the illustration, disengage the guide, to remove the front seat cushion edge protector LH.

  27. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  28. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH

      Pull in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration, disengage the guide, to remove the seat reclining adjuster inside cover RH.

  29. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK SPRING ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 4 bolts and separate type front seatback spring assembly.

  30. REMOVE LUMBAR SUPPORT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY

      Disengage the claw and guides to remove the front seatback edge protector.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for both sides.

      Pull in the direction indicated by the arrow (1) in the illustration to disengage the clips.

    3. Pull in the direction indicated by the arrow (2) in the illustration, disengage the guides, to remove the lumbar support adjuster assembly.

  31. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 SEATBACK HOOK


    1. Remove the 2 front No. 1 seatback hooks from the lumbar support adjuster assembly.

  32. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SPRING SUB-ASSEMBLY

      While rotating in the direction indicated by the arrows (1) in the illustration, disengage the hooks.

    2. Pull in the direction indicated by the arrows (2) in the illustration, disengage the hooks, to remove the front seat cushion spring sub-assembly.

  33. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION CARPET

      Peel off the hook and loop fastener, rotate in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration, to separate.

      Disengage the J hook to remove the front seat cushion carpet.
