DESCRIPTION

These DTCs are stored when the combination meter assembly detects an open in a turn signal light circuit, a short in a turn signal light circuit, or a short in the hazard warning light circuit.

  • Rear combination light assembly

  • Combination meter assembly

B1508 Short in Turn Signal / Hazard Flasher Circuit

Both conditions are met:


  • IG voltage is 10.5 V or higher.

  • Short in turn signal light circuit or hazard warning light circuit.


  • Harness or connector

  • Outer mirror control ECU assembly

  • Outer rear view mirror assembly

  • Side turn signal light assembly

  • Clearance light assembly

  • Rear combination light assembly

  • Combination meter assembly

  1. CHECK FOR DTC


    1. Clear the DTCs.

    2. Recheck for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.

  2. INSPECT LIGHTS


    1. Inspect the illumination of each turn signal light.

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (FRONT LH SIDE CIRCUIT)


    1. Disconnect the G14 combination meter assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the z11 outer rear view mirror assembly LH connector.

    3. Disconnect the L10 clearance light assembly LH connector.

    4. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      G14-12 (LL) - z11-16 (B) Always Below 1 Ω
      G14-12 (LL) - A19-1 (B) Always Below 1 Ω

    3. Disconnect the A19 clearance light assembly LH connector.

    4. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
