ENGINE HOOD COURTESY SWITCH REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL

  2. REMOVE HOOD COURTESY SWITCH (HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY)


    1. for LHD:


      1. A01MHGE

        Disconnect the connector.

      2. Using a clip remover, disengage the clamp.

      3. Remove the 3 bolts.

    2. for RHD:


      1. A01MHL7

        Disconnect the connector.

      2. Using a clip remover, disengage the clamps.

      3. Remove the 3 bolts.

    3. A01MJ0O

      Disengage the cable clamp.

    4. Disconnect the hood lock control cable assembly from the hood courtesy switch.
