DESCRIPTION
The No. 2 ultrasonic sensor (rear center sensor RH) is installed on the rear bumper. The clearance warning ECU assembly detects obstacles based on signals received from the No. 2 ultrasonic sensor (rear center sensor RH). If the No. 2 ultrasonic sensor (rear center sensor RH) has an open circuit or other malfunction, it will not function normally.

Note
If DTCs are output after repairs, turn the power switch on (IG) and turn the combination switch assembly (clearance sonar main switch) on. Then clear the DTCs.

CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NO. 2 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (REAR CENTER SENSOR RH) - CLEARANCE WARNING ECU ASSEMBLY)
Disconnect the A29 clearance warning ECU assembly connector.
Disconnect the X3 No. 2 ultrasonic sensor (rear center sensor RH) connector.
Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
