DESCRIPTION

The radio and display receiver assembly and map light assembly (telephone microphone assembly) are connected to each other using the microphone connection detection signal lines.

This DTC is stored when a microphone connection detection signal line is disconnected.

  1. INSPECT RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      G105 -19 (MIN-) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY (TELEPHONE MICROPHONE ASSEMBLY))


    1. Disconnect the G105 radio and display receiver assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the W8 map light assembly (telephone microphone assembly) connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      G105-6 (SNS2) - W8-15 (SNS2) Always Below 1 Ω
      G105-19 (MIN-) - W8-20 (MCO-) Always Below 1 Ω
      G105-6 (SNS2) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      G105-19 (MIN-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

  3. INSPECT MAP LAMP ASSEMBLY (TELEPHONE MICROPHONE ASSEMBLY)


    1. Remove the map light assembly (telephone microphone assembly).

  4. REPLACE TELEPHONE MICROPHONE ASSEMBLY


    1. Replace the telephone microphone assembly.

    2. Clear the DTCs.

      Click here


      Body Electrical > Navigation System > Clear DTCs

    3. Recheck for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.


      Body Electrical > Navigation System > Trouble Codes
      OK
      No DTCs are output.

    4. Check if the same malfunction recurs.
