DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when items controlled by the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) cannot be customized via the navigation system vehicle customization screen.

Tech Tips

The main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) controls the items for the following systems that are customizable via the navigation system vehicle customization screen:


  • Power door lock control system

  • Wireless door lock control system

  • Lighting system (for Interior)

  • Lighting system (for Exterior)

  1. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM


    1. Use the GTS to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally.


      OK
      CAN communication DTCs are not output.

    1. Make a note of the customizable items for each main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) related system.

      The items shown as customizable via the navigation system vehicle customization screen can also be changed using the GTS. In the following steps, the GTS will be used.


      1. To match-up the items on the navigation system vehicle customization screen with the items on the GTS, check the customize parameters list for the power door lock control system related items that can be customized via the navigation system vehicle customization screen.

      2. To match-up the items on the navigation system vehicle customization screen with the items on the GTS, check the customize parameters list for the wireless door lock control system related items that can be customized via the navigation system vehicle customization screen.
