PARKING BRAKE PEDAL(for LHD) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE AIR CONDITIONER UNIT ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE REAR BLOWER MOTOR

    Click here

  3. LOOSEN NO. 1 WIRE ADJUSTING NUT


    1. A01MJQHC01
      *1 No. 1 Wire Adjusting Nut
      *2 Lock Nut

      Completely release the parking brake pedal.

    2. Remove the lock nut and loosen the No. 1 wire adjusting nut to completely release the parking brake cable.

  4. SEPARATE NO. 1 PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 2 nuts to separate the No. 1 parking brake cable assembly from the cable support bracket.

      *a Hold
      *b Turn

      As shown in the illustration, hold the No. 2 wire adjusting nut with a wrench and loosen the lock nut.

    3. Remove the lock nut and No. 2 wire adjusting nut to separate the No. 1 parking brake cable assembly from the parking brake equalizer sub-assembly.

      Remove the bolt.

    5. A01MGBV

      Remove the nut to separate the No. 1 parking brake cable assembly from the body.

  5. REMOVE PARKING BRAKE CONTROL PEDAL ASSEMBLY


    1. A01MJAG

      Disconnect the parking brake switch connector.

    2. A01MIF2

      Disengage the 3 clamps to separate the wire harness from the parking brake control pedal assembly.

    3. Remove the 2 nuts, bolt and parking brake control pedal assembly from the body.

  6. REMOVE NO. 1 PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSEMBLY
