Tech Tips
Use the same procedure for the LH side and RH side.
The following procedure is for the LH side.
The rear speed sensor rotor is a component of the rear axle hub and bearing assembly. If the rear speed sensor rotor is malfunctioning, replace the rear axle hub and bearing assembly.
PROCEDURE
REMOVE REAR WHEEL
SEPARATE SKID CONTROL SENSOR WIRE

Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, disconnect the skid control sensor wire connector.
Note
Be careful not to damage the rear axle hub and bearing assembly and connector cover.
SEPARATE REAR DISC BRAKE CALIPER ASSEMBLY LH
REMOVE PARKING BRAKE SHOE ADJUSTING HOLE PLUG
REMOVE REAR DISC
REMOVE REAR AXLE HUB AND BEARING ASSEMBLY
Remove the 4 bolts and rear axle hub and bearing assembly from the rear axle beam assembly.
Tech Tips
The rear speed sensor is a component of the rear axle hub and bearing assembly. If the rear speed sensor is malfunctioning, replace the rear axle hub and bearing assembly.
SEPARATE REAR WHEEL HOUSE LINER
Remove the 2 clips and separate the rear wheel house liner.
REMOVE REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY
REMOVE NO. 1 EV BATTERY INTAKE DUCT
REMOVE SKID CONTROL SENSOR WIRE
Disconnect the connector.
Disconnect the grommet of the rear skid control sensor wire from the hole of the wheel house.
Remove the 2 nuts to separate the 2 sensor clamps from the side member and rear axle beam assembly.
Remove the 2 grommets of the skid control sensor wire from the rear axle beam assembly.
