OIL COOLER INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL NO. 3 MOTOR COOLING HOSE


    1. A01MICKC01
      *a View A
      *b Hose End and Hose Clip Position
      *c Upper Side of Vehicle
      *d Hose Paint Mark (White)
      *e Distance from Hose End to Hose Clip: 2 to 7 mm (0.0788 to 0.275 in.)

      Install the No. 3 motor cooling hose to the oil cooler assembly and slide the hose clip to secure it.

      Note

      Align the hose and hose clamp at the locations shown in the illustration and install them.

  2. INSTALL NO. 2 MOTOR COOLING HOSE

      *b Hose End and Hose Clip Position
      *c Upper Side of Vehicle
      *d Rear Side of Vehicle
      *e Hose Paint Mark (White)
      *f Distance from Hose End to Hose Clip: 2 to 7 mm (0.0788 to 0.275 in.)

      Install the No. 2 motor cooling hose to the oil cooler assembly and slide the hose clip to secure it.

      Note

      Align the hose and hose clip at the locations shown in the illustration and install them.

  3. INSTALL OIL COOLER DUCT


    1. Install the oil cooler duct to the oil cooler assembly with the 3 bolts.

      Torque:
      4.9 N*m  { 50 kgf*cm, 43 in.*lbf }

  4. INSTALL OIL COOLER WITH HOSE ASSEMBLY


    1. Engage the hook to temporarily install the oil cooler with hose assembly to the oil pump with motor assembly with the 2 bolts.

    2. Fully tighten the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      7.0 N*m  { 71 kgf*cm, 62 in.*lbf }

      *d Arrow Mark of Oil Pump with Motor Assembly
      *e Hose Paint Mark (Yellow)
      *f Distance from Hose End to Hose Clip: 2 to 7 mm (0.0788 to 0.275 in.)

      Connect the No. 2 motor cooling hose to the oil pump with motor assembly and slide the hose clip to secure it.

      Note

      Align the hose and hose clip at the locations shown in the illustration and install them.

      *a View A
      *b Hose End and Hose Clip Position
      *c Rear Side of Vehicle
      *d Tube Paint Mark (Light Blue)
      *e Hose Paint Mark (Blue)
      *f Distance from Hose End to Hose Clip: 2 to 7 mm (0.0788 to 0.275 in.)

      Connect the No. 3 motor cooling hose to the oil cooler union sub-assembly and slide the hose clip to secure it.

      Note

      Align the hose and hose clip at the locations shown in the illustration and install them.

  5. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY

  7. INSPECT AND ADJUST HYBRID TRANSAXLE FLUID

  8. INSPECT FOR HYBRID TRANSAXLE FLUID LEAK

  9. INSTALL REAR MOTOR UNDER COVER LH

  10. INSTALL NO. 1 MOTOR UNDER COVER
