RELAY ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT NO. 1 FC POWER RELAY


    1. A01MG1ME16

      Check the resistance of the No. 1 FC power relay (FC PWR).


      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        3 - 5 Auxiliary battery voltage not applied between terminals 1 and 2 10 kΩ or higher
        3 - 5 Auxiliary battery voltage applied between terminals 1 and 2 Below 1 Ω

  2. INSPECT NO. 2 FC POWER RELAY


    1. A01MJFME22

      Check the resistance of the No. 2 FC power relay (FC PWR2).


      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        3 - 5 Auxiliary battery voltage not applied between terminals 1 and 2 10 kΩ or higher
        3 - 5 Auxiliary battery voltage applied between terminals 1 and 2 Below 1 Ω

  3. INSPECT FC IGNITION CONTROL RELAY


    1. A01MJFME22

      Check the resistance of the FC ignition control relay (FC-IGCT).


      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        3 - 5 Auxiliary battery voltage not applied between terminals 1 and 2 10 kΩ or higher
        3 - 5 Auxiliary battery voltage applied between terminals 1 and 2 Below 1 Ω
