FC WATER RELEASE SWITCH INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT FC WATER RELEASE SWITCH


    1. Check the resistance.

        Component without harness connected

        (FC Water Release Switch)

        Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        5 (E) - 8 (SW) Switch on Below 1 Ω
        Switch off 10 kΩ or higher

        If the result is not as specified, replace the FC water release switch.

    2. Check illumination.


      1. Connect the negative auxiliary battery cable and positive auxiliary battery cable to the indicated terminals of the connector and check that the LED illuminates.

        OK
        Condition Specified Condition

        Auxiliary battery positive (+) → 7 (ILL+)

        Auxiliary battery negative (-) → 6 (ILL-)

        		 LED illuminates

        If the result is not as specified, replace the FC water release switch.
