PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT FC GAS TEMPERATURE SENSOR


    1. Check the resistance.

        (FC Gas Temperature Sensor)

        Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        1 (ATIC) - 2 (GATI) Approximately 40°C (104°F) 21.35 to 31.99 kΩ
        Approximately 80°C (176°F) 5.213 to 7.220 kΩ

        CAUTION:


        • Do not put your hands into the water that has been heated for the inspection.

        • Touching the heated water could result in burns.

        Note


        • When putting the FC gas temperature sensor into water to perform inspection, make sure water does not enter the terminal portion.

        • After inspection, wipe away any water droplets adhering to the FC gas temperature sensor.

        If the result is not as specified, replace the FC gas temperature sensor.
