FC BOOST CONTROL SYSTEM SYSTEM DESCRIPTION


  1. DESCRIPTION

    The FC converter assembly increases the output voltage of the FC stack assembly up to 650 V.

    The FC converter assembly consists of the FC boost control ECU, IPM for boosting voltage (Intelligent Power Module), capacitor, reactors for phases U, V, W and X, reactor current sensors and reactor temperature sensor for phases V.

    The FC boost control ECU controls the values of the FC stack output current and voltage by driving the IPM for boosting voltage, based on the output request values from the EV control ECU.
