HV RELAY INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

1. EV BATTERY JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. Check the SMRB.

      
      
      1. 

         *a	Component without harness connected (EV Battery Junction Block Assembly)

         Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

         Standard Resistance
         Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition (+) - 1 (CBI) 1 (SMRB) - 2 (GND) Auxiliary battery voltage not applied between terminals 10 kΩ or higher 1 (SMRB) - 2 (GND) Auxiliary battery voltage applied between terminals Below 1 Ω

         If the result is not as specified, replace the EV battery junction block assembly.

      2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

         Standard Resistance
         Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 1 (SMRB) - 2 (GND) -40 to 80°C (-104 to 176°F) 25.0 to 59.0 Ω

         If the result is not as specified, replace the EV battery junction block assembly.

   2. Check the SMRG.

      
      
      1. 

         *a	Component without harness connected (EV Battery Junction Block Assembly)

         Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

         Standard Resistance
         Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition (-) - 1 (CEI) 3 (SMRG) - 2 (GND) Auxiliary battery voltage not applied between terminals 10 kΩ or higher 3 (SMRG) - 2 (GND) Auxiliary battery voltage applied between terminals Below 1 Ω

         If the result is not as specified, replace the EV battery junction block assembly.

      2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

         Standard Resistance
         Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 3 (SMRG) - 2 (GND) -40 to 80°C (-104 to 176°F) 25.0 to 59.0 Ω

         If the result is not as specified, replace the EV battery junction block assembly.

   3. Check the SMRP.

      
      
      1. 

         *a	Component without harness connected (EV Battery Junction Block Assembly)

         Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

         Standard Resistance
         Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition (-) - 1 (CEI) 4 (SMRP) - 2 (GND) Auxiliary battery voltage not applied between terminals 10 kΩ or higher 4 (SMRP) - 2 (GND) Auxiliary battery voltage applied between terminals 28.5 to 31.5 Ω

         If the result is not as specified, replace the EV battery junction block assembly.

      2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

         Standard Resistance
         Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 4 (SMRP) - 2 (GND) -40 to 80°C (-104 to 176°F) 112 to 274 Ω

         If the result is not as specified, replace the EV battery junction block assembly.
