CHECK FOR DTCS (EV)
Connect the GTS to the DLC3.
Turn the power switch on (IG).
Turn the GTS on.
Enter the following menus: Powertrain / EV / Trouble Codes.
Check the DTCs and freeze frame data, and then write them down.
Check the details of the DTCs.
Tech Tips

A pending DTC is a DTC that is stored in the EV control ECU during the 1st trip when the 2 trip detection logic is used.
Both Current (Current DTC) and Pending (Pending DTC) record freeze frame data.
CHECK FREEZE FRAME DATA AND INFORMATION
If a DTC is stored, select it in order to display its freeze frame data.
Read the freeze frame data recorded when the DTC was stored.
Note
A 3-digit information code (INF code) will be displayed as the value for one of the Information 1 to Information 5 lines.
CHECK FOR DTCS (SYSTEMS EXCEPT EV CONTROL ECU)
Tech Tips
The EV control ECU maintains communication with other ECUs, including the FC control ECU, FC boost control ECU, skid control ECU and power steering ECU. Therefore, if the EV control ECU outputs a warning, it is necessary to check and record the DTCs of all systems.
Connect the GTS to the DLC3.
Turn the power switch on (IG).
Turn the GTS on.
Enter the following menus: System Select / Health Check.
If DTCs are stored, check the relevant systems.
Tech Tips
If DTCs for the CAN communication system are stored in addition to other DTCs, first troubleshoot and repair any malfunctions in the CAN communication system.
CLEAR DTCS (EV)

Connect the GTS to the DLC3.
Turn the power switch on (IG).
Turn the GTS on.
Enter the following menus: Powertrain / EV / Trouble Codes.
Clear the DTCs and freeze frame data.
