  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

  • Fully open the rear door glass sub-assembly LH before proceeding with work.

PROCEDURE


  1. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notice before proceeding with work.

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

  3. REMOVE REAR DOOR FRAME GARNISH LH

  4. REMOVE REAR ARMREST ASSEMBLY LH

  5. REMOVE REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY WITH REAR DOOR ARMREST BASE PANEL (w/ Power Window)

      Put protective tape around the rear door belt moulding assembly LH.

      B0069FO Remove in this Direction

      Using moulding remover D, detach the claw and remove the rear door belt moulding assembly LH as shown in the illustration.
