FRONT BUMPER(for Steel Type Bumper) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIATOR GRILLE RETAINER

  2. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER

      *A for Standard Body
      *B for Wide Body

      Remove the clip.

    2. Put protective tape around the front bumper cover.

    3. B0068PIC01
      *a Bolt
      *b Screw

      Remove the 2 screws and 2 bolts.

    4. B0069EC

      Remove the 3 screws.

      for Standard Body:


      1. Detach the claw as shown in the illustration.

        Tech Tips

        Use the same procedure for the claw on the other side.

      1. Detach the claw as shown in the illustration.

      1. Disconnect the connector.

      Remove the protective tape.

  3. REMOVE FRONT FENDER SPLASH SHIELD FRONT SEAL LH

  5. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 4 bolts.

    2. B0068BYC02

      Remove the 8 bolts.

    3. w/ Fog Light:


      1. Disconnect the connector.

      Detach the guide and remove the front bumper assembly as shown in the illustration.

  6. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Put matchmark on the front bumper bracket sub-assembly LH and vehicle body.

    2. B0069DOC01
      *a matchmark

      Remove the 4 bolts and front bumper bracket sub-assembly LH.

  7. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  8. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE MOUNTING BRACKET ASSEMBLY LH

      Remove the 2 bolts and front bumper side mounting bracket assembly LH.

  9. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE MOUNTING BRACKET ASSEMBLY RH

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  10. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 4 bolts.

    2. Detach the guide and remove the front bumper reinforcement sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

  11. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT PLATE LH

      B0069FO Remove in this Direction

      Remove the bolt.

    2. Detach the guide and remove the front bumper reinforcement plate LH as shown in the illustration.

  12. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT PLATE RH

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  13. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT LH (for Standard)

      *a 90°
      B0069FO Rotation Direction
      B0068NX Remove in this Direction

      Remove the bolt and clip.

    2. Using a screwdriver, turn the clip 90° and remove the clip.

    3. Detach the claw and remove the front bumper side support LH as shown in the illustration.

  14. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT RH (for Standard)

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  15. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT LH (for Wide Body)

      *a 90°
      B0069FO Rotation Direction
      B0068NX Remove in this Direction

      Remove the bolt and clip.

    2. Using a screwdriver, turn the clip 90° and remove the 2 clips.

    3. Detach the claw and remove the front bumper side support LH as shown in the illustration.

  16. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT RH (for Wide Body)

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  17. REMOVE RADIATOR SIDE DEFLECTOR LH

      w/ Intercooler:


      1. Detach the claw and remove the radiator side deflector LH as shown in the illustration.

    2. B00693YC01
      B0069FO Remove in this Direction

      w/o Intercooler:


      1. Detach the claw and remove the radiator side deflector LH as shown in the illustration.

  18. REMOVE RADIATOR SIDE DEFLECTOR RH
