FRONT BUMPER(for Resin Type Bumper) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIATOR GRILLE RETAINER


    1. B0069F3

      Remove the 8 clips and No. 1 radiator grille retainer.

  2. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER

      *A for Standard Body
      *B for Wide Body
      *a 90°
      B0069FO Rotation Direction

      Using a screwdriver, turn the pin hold clip 90° and remove the pin hold clip.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the pin hold clips on the other side.

    2. Remove the clip.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the clip on the other side.

      *b Screw

      Remove the 6 screws and 3 bolts.

    4. Put protective tape around the front bumper cover.

      Remove the 2 screws and 2 bolts.

      w/o Energy Absorber:


      1. Remove the 3 screws.

      w/ Energy Absorber:


      1. Remove the 3 screws and 2 clips.

      B0069FO Remove in this Direction

      for Standard Body:


      1. Detach the claw as shown in the illustration.

        Tech Tips

        Use the same procedure for the claw on the other side.

      1. Detach the claw as shown in the illustration.

    10. w/ Fog Light:


      1. Disconnect the connector.

      Remove the front bumper cover as shown in the illustration.

  3. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER NO. 2 ENERGY ABSORBER (w/ Energy Absorber)

      Remove the 3 bolts and front bumper No. 2 energy absorber as shown in the illustration.

  4. REMOVE RADIATOR SIDE DEFLECTOR LH

      w/ Intercooler, w/ Energy Absorber:


      1. Detach the claw and remove the radiator side deflector LH as shown in the illustration.

      w/ Intercooler, w/o Energy Absorber:


      1. Detach the claw and remove the radiator side deflector LH as shown in the illustration.

      1. Detach the claw and remove the radiator side deflector LH as shown in the illustration.

      1. Detach the claw and remove the radiator side deflector LH as shown in the illustration.

  5. REMOVE RADIATOR SIDE DEFLECTOR RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  6. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER NO. 2 SIDE SUPPORT LH (w/ Energy Absorber)

      Remove the 2 bolts and front bumper side support LH.

  7. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER NO. 2 SIDE SUPPORT RH (w/ Energy Absorber)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  8. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER STONE DEFLECTOR LH

      Detach the claw and guide and remove the front bumper stone deflector LH as shown in the illustration.

  9. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER STONE DEFLECTOR RH

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  10. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Energy Absorber)

      Detach the clip and remove the front bumper energy absorber sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

  11. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 4 bolts and front bumper reinforcement sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

  12. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT LH (for Standard)

      B0068NX Remove in this Direction

      Remove the bolt and clip.

    2. Using a screwdriver, turn the clip 90° and remove the clip.

    3. Detach the claw and remove the front bumper side support LH as shown in the illustration.

  13. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT RH (for Standard)

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  14. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT LH (for Wide Body)

      Remove the bolt and clip.

    2. Using a screwdriver, turn the clip 90° and remove the 2 clips.

    3. Detach the claw and remove the front bumper side support LH as shown in the illustration.

  15. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT RH (for Wide Body)
