HEADLIGHT BULB REPLACEMENT

Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE HEADLIGHT SOCKET COVER (for Halogen Headlight)


    1. A01LCY7

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. A01LE82

      Remove the headlight socket cover.

  2. REMOVE NO. 1 HEADLIGHT BULB (for Halogen Headlight)

      B0069FO Release in this Direction

      Push and pull up the set spring to release it.

    2. Remove the No. 1 headlight bulb.

      Note

      Do not touch the glass part of the No. 1 headlight bulb.

  3. REMOVE NO. 1 HEADLIGHT BULB (for LED Headlight)

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. A01L8BXC01
      B0069FO Counterclockwise

      Turn the No. 1 headlight bulb counterclockwise until the bulb stops.

    3. Remove the No. 1 headlight bulb.

      Note

      Do not touch the glass part of the No. 1 headlight bulb.

  4. INSTALL NO. 1 HEADLIGHT BULB (for Halogen Headlight)

      Align the shaded area of the No. 1 headlight bulb shown in the illustration with the shaded area of the headlight unit and insert the No. 1 headlight bulb into the headlight unit.

      Note

      Do not touch the glass part of the No. 1 headlight bulb.

      B0069FO Lock in this Direction

      Lock the set spring by moving it in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration.

  5. INSTALL HEADLIGHT SOCKET COVER (for Halogen Headlight)


    1. Install the headlight socket cover.

  6. INSTALL NO. 1 HEADLIGHT BULB (for LED Headlight)


    1. Insert the No. 1 headlight bulb into the headlight unit assembly LH.

      Note

      Do not touch the glass part of the No. 1 headlight bulb.

      Turn the No. 1 headlight bulb clockwise until the bulb stops to install it.
