AUTOMATIC HEADLIGHT BEAM LEVEL CONTROL SYSTEM TERMINALS OF ECU


  1. CHECK HEADLIGHT LEVELING ECU

    B0024XXE41

    1. Disconnect the G80 headlight leveling ECU connector.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      G80-1 (IG) - Body ground G- Body ground Ignition power supply Engine switch off Below 1 V
      Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      G80-9 (E1) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the G80 headlight leveling ECU connector.

    4. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      With low beam headlights on, vehicle height changed and maintained for more than 3 seconds 1.0 to 14.4 V
      G80-18 (LHT) - G80-9 (E1) G - W-B Leveling motor LH operation signal input With low beam headlights on, vehicle height not changed Below 1 V
      With low beam headlights on, vehicle height changed and maintained for more than 3 seconds 1.0 to 14.4 V
      G80-19 (SHRL) - G80-21 (SGR) Y - LG Rear height control sensor signal input

      Engine switch on (IG)

      (no passengers, no luggage, vehicle not moving)

      Approximately 2.5 V (Vehicle is level)

      (The value decreases as the front of the vehicle is raised.)
