HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY(for Halogen Headlight) DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE

1. Click here

   REMOVE HEADLIGHT SOCKET COVER

   
   

   1. Remove the headlight socket cover from the headlight unit.

2. Click here

   REMOVE NO. 1 HEADLIGHT BULB

   
   
   1. 

      Release in this Direction

      Push and pull up the set spring to release it.

   2. Remove the No. 1 headlight bulb from the headlight unit.

      Note:

      Do not touch the glass part of the No. 1 headlight bulb.

3. *a Matchmark *b Unlock Position Mark Counterclockwise

   REMOVE CLEARANCE LIGHT SOCKET

   
   

   1. Turn the clearance light socket counterclockwise until the matchmark is aligned with the unlock position mark to remove the clearance light socket from the headlight unit.

4. Click here

   REMOVE CLEARANCE LIGHT BULB

   
   
   1. 

      Remove the clearance light bulb from the clearance light socket.

5. *a Matchmark *b Unlock Position Mark Counterclockwise

   REMOVE FRONT TURN SIGNAL LIGHT SOCKET

   
   

   1. Turn the front turn signal light socket counterclockwise until the matchmark is aligned with the unlock position mark to remove the front turn signal light socket from the headlight unit.

6. Click here

   REMOVE FRONT TURN SIGNAL LIGHT BULB

   
   
   1. 

      	Push
      	Counterclockwise
      	Remove in this Direction

      Push the front turn signal light bulb in the direction indicated by the black arrow shown in the illustration, turn the bulb counterclockwise, and then remove the bulb from the front turn signal light socket.

7. Click here

   REMOVE HEADLIGHT LEVELING MOTOR LH (w/ Headlight Leveling)

   
   
   1. 

      *a	Aiming Screw
      	Loosen in this Direction

      Loosen the aiming screw 20 rotations.

   2. 

      *a	Aiming Screw
      	Loosen in this Direction
      	Counterclockwise

      Turn the headlight leveling motor LH counterclockwise and remove it.

      Note:
      

      • Do not pull excessively as the headlight unit and headlight leveling motor LH are connected at this time.

      • Turn while holding with one hand as the headlight leveling motor LH may jump out.

      • If the headlight leveling motor LH is removed, make sure to replace the headlight leveling motor base packing with a new one.

      Tip:

      For the headlight assembly RH, turn the headlight leveling motor RH clockwise to remove it.

   3. Loosen the aiming screw of the headlight leveling motor LH until the headlight unit is disconnected.

      Tip:

      Count and record the number of rotations before the headlight unit and headlight leveling motor LH are disconnected.

8. Click here

   REMOVE HEADLIGHT LEVELING MOTOR BASE PACKING (w/ Headlight Leveling)

   
   
   1. 

      Remove the headlight leveling motor base packing from the headlight unit.

      Note:

      If the headlight leveling motor base packing is removed, replace it with a new one.
