   REMOVE LOWER QUARTER TRIM PANEL LH

    REMOVE FRONT FLOOR CARPET ASSEMBLY

    
    

    1. Partially remove the floor carpet.

       Tip:

       It is not necessary to fully remove the floor carpet. Partially remove it so that the fuel lid lock control cable sub-assembly can be removed in a later step.

    REMOVE REAR WHEEL HOUSE LINER LH

    
    

    1. Partially remove the liner.

       Tip:

       It is not necessary to fully remove the liner. Partially remove it so that the fuel lid lock control cable sub-assembly can be removed in a later step.

    REMOVE FUEL LID LOCK OPEN LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for LHD)

    1. Remove the grommet from the vehicle body.

    2.

       Fuel Lid Lock Control Cable Sub-assembly

       for Short Wheelbase:

       Detach each clamp as shown in the illustration.

    3. 

       *1

       Fuel Lid Lock Control Cable Sub-assembly

       *2

       Grommet

       for Long Wheelbase:

       Detach each clamp as shown in the illustration.

    4. 

       Remove in this Direction

       Detach the claw and remove the fuel lid lock control cable sub-assembly from the fuel filler opening lid lock retainer as shown in the illustration.

    1. Remove the grommet from the vehicle body.

       Detach each clamp as shown in the illustration.

       Detach each clamp as shown in the illustration.

    4. 

       Remove in this Direction

       Detach the claw and remove the fuel lid lock control cable sub-assembly from the fuel filler opening lid lock retainer as shown in the illustration.
