  • Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.

  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL CONSOLE BOX BEZEL (for Manual Transmission)


    1. A01LEKE

      Attach the claw to install the console box bezel.

  2. INSTALL SHIFTING HOLE COVER ASSEMBLY (for Manual Transmission)


    1. A01LALU

      Attach the claw to install the shifting hole cover assembly.

  3. INSTALL NO. 1 CONSOLE BOX AIR DAMPER SEAL (w/ Rear Register Duct)


    1. A01LFOG

      Remove the peeling paper from a new No. 1 console box air damper seal and press firmly to install the No. 1 console box air damper seal in the position shown in the illustration.

  4. INSTALL UPPER REAR CONSOLE PANEL (w/ Rear Register Duct)

      Attach the claw to install the upper rear console panel.

  5. INSTALL CONSOLE BOX REGISTER ASSEMBLY (w/ Rear Register Duct)


    1. A01LCM3

      Install the console box register assembly with the 4 screws.

    2. A01L8BA

      Attach the claw to install the duct.

  6. INSTALL PARKING BRAKE HOLE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. for Automatic Transmission:


      1. A01LAIF

        Attach the guide to install the parking brake hole cover sub-assembly.

    2. for Manual Transmission:


      1. A01LE4Q

        Attach the guide to install the parking brake hole cover sub-assembly.

  7. INSTALL CONSOLE COMPARTMENT DOOR CUSHION

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for both console compartment door cushions.

      Install the console compartment door cushion.

  8. INSTALL CONSOLE COMPARTMENT DOOR HINGE SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01LCOR

      Install the console compartment door hinge sub-assembly with the 4 screws.

    2. for Type A:


      1. A01L8XU

        Attach the claw to install the cover.

      2. Install the 5 screws.

    3. A01LF9W

      for Type B:


      1. Attach the claw to install the cover.

  9. INSTALL CONSOLE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01LCS3

      Install the console compartment door lock sub-assembly with the 2 screws.

  10. INSTALL CONSOLE COMPARTMENT DOOR SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01LG28N01

      Attach the claw to install the console compartment door sub-assembly.

    2. Install the 3 screws.

      Tech Tips


      • Before installing the screws, make sure to close the lid of the console compartment door sub-assembly.

      • Make sure to install the screws in the order shown in the illustration.
