FRONT CONSOLE BOX(w/ Console Box Lid) REMOVAL

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

PROCEDURE

1. Click here

   REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. for Automatic Transmission:

      
      
      1. 

         Remove in this Direction

         Twist the shift lever knob sub-assembly as shown in the illustration and remove it.

   2. for Manual Transmission:

      
      
      1. 

         Remove in this Direction

         Twist the shifting hole cover as shown in the illustration and disconnect it.

         Tip:

         Make sure to hold part A shown in the illustration when twisting the shifting hole cover.

      2. 

         Remove in this Direction

         Twist the shift lever knob sub-assembly as shown in the illustration and remove it.

   REMOVE UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. for Automatic Transmission:

      
      
      1. 

         *a	Protective Tape

         Put protective tape around the upper console panel sub-assembly.

      2. Unfasten the zip fastener of the parking brake hole cover sub-assembly.

      3. 

         	Place Hands Here
         	Remove in this Direction

         Place your hands at the position shown in the illustration and pull as shown to detach the clip and guide.

      4. Disconnect the connector.

      5. 

         Remove in this Direction

         Pull as shown in the illustration to remove the upper console panel sub-assembly.

         Tip:

         Before removing, make sure to move the shift lever to N.

   2. for Manual Transmission:

      
      
      1. 

         *a	Protective Tape

         Put protective tape around the upper console panel sub-assembly.

      2. Unfasten the zip fastener of the parking brake hole cover sub-assembly.

      3. 

         	Place Hands Here
         	Remove in this Direction

         Place your hands at the position shown in the illustration and pull as shown to detach the clip and guide.

      4. Disconnect the connector.

      5. 

         Remove in this Direction

         Pull as shown in the illustration to remove the upper console panel sub-assembly.

3. Click here

   REMOVE REAR CONSOLE END PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. w/o Rear Register Duct:

      
      
      1. 

         *a	Protective Tape

         Put protective tape around the rear console end panel sub-assembly.

      2. 

         	Place Hands Here
         	Remove in this Direction

         Place your hands at the position shown in the illustration and pull as shown to detach the clip and claw and remove the rear console end panel sub-assembly.

   2. w/ Rear Register Duct:

      
      
      1. 

         *a	Protective Tape

         Put protective tape around the rear console end panel sub-assembly.

      2. 

         	Place Hands Here
         	Remove in this Direction

         Place your hands at the position shown in the illustration and pull as shown to detach the clip and claw and remove the rear console end panel sub-assembly.

4. Click here

   REMOVE CONSOLE BOX CARPET

   
   
   1. 

      Remove the console box carpet.

5. Click here

   REMOVE CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. for Automatic Transmission:

      
      
      1. 

         Remove the 2 bolts.

      2. 

         Remove the 4 screws.

      3. Disconnect the connector.

      4. 

         	Remove in this Direction (1)
         	Remove in this Direction (2)

         Pull as shown in the illustration to remove the console box assembly.

   2. for Manual Transmission:

      
      
      1. 

         Remove the 2 bolts.

      2. 

         Remove the 4 screws.

      3. Disconnect the connector.

      4. 

         	Remove in this Direction (1)
         	Remove in this Direction (2)

         Pull as shown in the illustration to remove the console box assembly.
