VISCOUS HEATER INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT VISCOUS HEATER WITH MAGNET CLUTCH ASSEMBLY

      Component without harness connected

      (Viscous Heater with Magnet Clutch Assembly)

      Inspect the magnet clutch assembly.


      1. Disconnect the connector.

      2. Apply battery voltage to the clutch and check the operation of the clutch.

        OK
        Measurement Condition Specified Condition

        Battery positive (+) → Terminal 1(MG+)

        Battery negative (-) → Body ground

        		 Magnet clutch is engaged

        If the result is not as specified, replace the viscous heater with magnet clutch assembly.
