CONDENSER(for 1GD-FTV, 2GD-FTV) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM

  2. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER


    1. for Resin Type Bumper:

      Click here

    2. for Steel Type Bumper:

      Click here

  3. REMOVE HIGH PITCHED HORN ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  4. REMOVE LOW PITCHED HORN ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  5. DISCONNECT HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  6. REMOVE HOOD LOCK SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY

      for Automatic Air Conditioning System:


      1. Detach the clamp and remove the thermistor assembly (ambient temperature sensor).

    2. B0068G9

      Detach each clamp.

    3. Remove the 3 bolts and hood lock support sub-assembly.

  7. REMOVE RADIATOR UPPER SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. B0069BH

      Remove the 4 clips and No. 1 radiator air guide.

    2. B0068VS

      Remove the 4 bolts.

    3. Detach each clamp and remove the radiator upper support sub-assembly.

  8. REMOVE RADIATOR SIDE DEFLECTOR LH


    1. B0069DT

      w/ Energy Absorber:

      Detach the claw and remove the radiator side deflector LH.

    2. B0068MN

      w/o Energy Absorber:

      Detach the claw and remove the radiator side deflector LH.

    3. B0069CT

      for Steel Type Bumper:

      Detach the claw and remove the radiator side deflector LH.

  9. REMOVE RADIATOR SIDE DEFLECTOR RH

      w/ Energy Absorber:

      Detach the claw and remove the radiator side deflector RH.

    2. B00692J

      w/o Energy Absorber:

      Detach the claw and remove the radiator side deflector RH.

    3. B0068EZ

      for Steel Type Bumper:

      Detach the claw and remove the radiator side deflector RH.

  10. REMOVE RADIATOR ASSEMBLY

      Click here

    2. for 2GD-FTV:

      Click here

  11. DISCONNECT NO. 1 COOLER REFRIGERANT DISCHARGE HOSE


    1. B006932

      Remove the bolt and disconnect the No. 1 cooler refrigerant discharge hose.

    2. Remove the O-ring from the No. 1 cooler refrigerant discharge hose.

      Note

      Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.

  12. DISCONNECT COOLER REFRIGERANT LIQUID PIPE A


    1. B0069AQ

      Remove the bolt and disconnect the cooler refrigerant liquid pipe A.

    2. Remove the O-ring from the cooler refrigerant liquid pipe A.

      Note

      Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.

  13. REMOVE COOLER CONDENSER ASSEMBLY

      Remove the cooler condenser assembly.

      Note

      Do not damage the cooler condenser assembly or radiator assembly when removing the cooler condenser assembly.
