CONDENSER(for 2KD-FTV) INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL COOLER CONDENSER ASSEMBLY

      B0069FO Install in this Direction

      Install the cooler condenser assembly.

      Note

      Do not damage the cooler condenser assembly or radiator assembly when installing the cooler condenser assembly.

  2. CONNECT COOLER REFRIGERANT LIQUID PIPE A


    1. B0068IT

      Remove the vinyl tape from the cooler refrigerant liquid pipe A and the connecting part of the cooler condenser assembly.

    2. Sufficiently apply compressor oil to a new O-ring and the fitting surface of the cooler refrigerant liquid pipe A.

      Compressor Oil
      ND-OIL 8 or equivalent

    3. Install the O-ring to the cooler refrigerant liquid pipe A.

      Note

      Keep the O-ring and O-ring fitting surfaces free of foreign matter.

    4. Connect the cooler refrigerant liquid pipe A to the cooler condenser assembly with the bolt.

      Torque:
      5.4 N*m  { 55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }

  3. CONNECT NO. 1 COOLER REFRIGERANT DISCHARGE HOSE

      Remove the vinyl tape from the No. 1 cooler refrigerant discharge hose and the connecting part of the cooler condenser assembly.

    2. Sufficiently apply compressor oil to a new O-ring and the fitting surface of the No. 1 cooler refrigerant discharge hose.

      Compressor Oil
      ND-OIL 8 or equivalent

    3. Install the O-ring to the No. 1 cooler refrigerant discharge hose.

      Note

      Keep the O-ring and O-ring fitting surfaces free of foreign matter.

    4. Connect the No. 1 cooler refrigerant discharge hose to the condenser assembly with the bolt.

      Torque:
      5.4 N*m  { 55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }

  4. INSTALL RADIATOR ASSEMBLY

  5. INSTALL RADIATOR SIDE DEFLECTOR LH

      w/ Energy Absorber:

      Attach the claw to install the radiator side deflector LH.

    2. B0068WD

      w/o Energy Absorber:

      Attach the claw to install the radiator side deflector LH.

    3. B0068DB

      for Steel Type Bumper:

      Attach the claw to install the radiator side deflector LH.

  6. INSTALL RADIATOR SIDE DEFLECTOR RH

      w/ Energy Absorber:

      Attach the claw to install the radiator side deflector RH.

    2. B0068AV

      w/o Energy Absorber:

      Attach the claw to install the radiator side deflector RH.

    3. B0069D9

      for Steel Type Bumper:

      Attach the claw to install the radiator side deflector RH.

  7. INSTALL RADIATOR UPPER SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. B00690I

      Connect each clamp to install the radiator upper support sub-assembly.

    2. Install the radiator upper support sub-assembly with the 6 bolts.

      Torque:
      12.5 N*m  { 127 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf }
    3. B0069BH

      Install the No. 1 radiator air guide with 4 new clips.

  8. INSTALL HOOD LOCK SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. B0069FV

      Install the hood lock support sub-assembly with the 3 bolts.

      Torque:
      12.5 N*m  { 127 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf }

    2. Attach each clamp.

    3. B0068O7

      Attach the clamp to install the thermistor assembly (ambient temperature sensor).

  9. INSTALL HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY

  12. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER COVER

  13. CHARGE AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM WITH REFRIGERANT

  14. WARM UP ENGINE

  15. INSPECT FOR REFRIGERANT LEAK
