COMPRESSOR(for 1KD-FTV, 2KD-FTV) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM

  2. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Intercooler)

  3. REMOVE FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT

  4. DISCONNECT NO. 1 COOLER REFRIGERANT DISCHARGE HOSE

      *A w/o Thermostat
      *B w/ Thermostat

      Remove the bolt and disconnect the No. 1 cooler refrigerant discharge hose from the compressor assembly with magnet clutch.

    2. Remove the O-ring from the No. 1 cooler refrigerant discharge hose.

      Note

      Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent moisture and foreign matter from entering them.

  5. DISCONNECT SUCTION HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY

      *B w/ Thermostat

      Remove the bolt and disconnect the suction hose sub-assembly from the compressor assembly with magnet clutch.

    2. Remove the O-ring from the suction hose sub-assembly.

      Note

      Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent moisture and foreign matter from entering them.

  6. REMOVE COMPRESSOR ASSEMBLY WITH MAGNET CLUTCH

      *B w/ Thermostat

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Detach the clamp.

    3. A01SCX1C02
      *A w/o Thermostat
      *B w/ Thermostat

      Remove the 4 bolts compressor assembly with magnet clutch.
