PROCEDURE
RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM
REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER
for Resin Type Bumper:
for Steel Type Bumper:
REMOVE HIGH PITCHED HORN ASSEMBLY
REMOVE LOW PITCHED HORN ASSEMBLY
DISCONNECT HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY
REMOVE HOOD LOCK SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY
for Automatic Air Conditioning System:
Detach the clamp and remove the thermistor assembly (ambient temperature sensor).
Detach each clamp.
Remove the 3 bolts and hood lock support sub-assembly.
REMOVE RADIATOR UPPER SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY
Remove the 4 clips and No. 1 radiator air guide.
Remove the 4 bolts.
Detach each clamp and remove the radiator upper support sub-assembly.
REMOVE RADIATOR SIDE DEFLECTOR LH
w/ Energy Absorber:
Detach the claw and remove the radiator side deflector LH.
w/o Energy Absorber:
Detach the claw and remove the radiator side deflector LH.
for Steel Type Bumper:
Detach the claw and remove the radiator side deflector LH.
REMOVE RADIATOR SIDE DEFLECTOR RH
w/ Energy Absorber:
Detach the claw and remove the radiator side deflector RH.
w/o Energy Absorber:
Detach the claw and remove the radiator side deflector RH.
for Steel Type Bumper:
Detach the claw and remove the radiator side deflector RH.
REMOVE RADIATOR ASSEMBLY
DISCONNECT NO. 1 COOLER REFRIGERANT DISCHARGE HOSE
Remove the bolt and disconnect the No. 1 cooler refrigerant discharge hose.
Remove the O-ring from the No. 1 cooler refrigerant discharge hose.
Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.
DISCONNECT COOLER REFRIGERANT LIQUID PIPE A
Remove the bolt and disconnect the cooler refrigerant liquid pipe A.
Remove the O-ring from the cooler refrigerant liquid pipe A.
Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.
REMOVE COOLER CONDENSER ASSEMBLY

Remove in this Direction |
Remove the cooler condenser assembly.
Do not damage the cooler condenser assembly or radiator assembly when removing the cooler condenser assembly.
