BLOWER UNIT REASSEMBLY

  • Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.

  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL NO. 1 BLOWER DAMPER SERVO SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Automatic Air Conditioning System)


    1. A01W8WE

      Attach the arm of the No. 1 blower damper servo sub-assembly to the link of the blower assembly as shown in the illustration.

    2. Install the No. 1 blower damper servo sub-assembly with the 2 screws.

  2. INSTALL AIR INLET DAMPER CONTROL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Manual Air Conditioning System, Manual Cooler System)

      Attach the arm of the air inlet damper control cable sub-assembly to the link of the blower assembly as shown in the illustration.

    2. Attach the claw to install the air inlet damper control cable sub-assembly.

  3. INSTALL BLOWER WITH FAN MOTOR SUB-ASSEMBLY

      for Automatic Air Conditioning System, w/ Rear Resistor Duct, for LHD:


      1. Install the blower with fan motor sub-assembly with the 3 screws.

      2. A01W9BW

        Connect the connector.

      3. Attach the clamp.

    2. A01WAUE

      for Automatic Air Conditioning System, w/ Rear Resistor Duct, for RHD:

      Install the blower with fan motor sub-assembly with the 3 screws.

    3. for Automatic Air Conditioning System, w/o Rear Resistor Duct:

      Install the blower with fan motor sub-assembly with the 3 screws.

    4. for Manual Air Conditioning System, Manual Cooler System:

      Install the blower with fan motor sub-assembly with the 3 screws.

  4. INSTALL AIR REFINER ELEMENT

      B0069FO Install in this Direction

      for Automatic Air Conditioning System:

      Align the "UP" marks as shown in the illustration and install the air refiner element.

      Note

      Make sure that the "UP" mark is facing the correct direction before installing the filter.

      for Manual Air Conditioning System, Manual Cooler System:

      Align the "UP" marks as shown in the illustration and install the air refiner element.

      Note

      Make sure that the "UP" mark is facing the correct direction before installing the filter.

  5. INSTALL AIR FILTER CASE

      B0069FO Install in this Direction (1)
      B0068NX Install in this Direction (2)

      for Automatic Air Conditioning System:

      Attach the claw and guide to install the air filter case.

      B0069FO Install in this Direction (1)
      B0068NX Install in this Direction (2)

      for Manual Air Conditioning System, Manual Cooler System:

      Attach the claw and guide to install the air filter case.

  6. INSTALL BLOWER MOTOR CONTROL (for Automatic Air Conditioning System)


    1. A01WBQN

      w/ Rear Resistor Duct, for RHD:


      1. Install the blower motor control with the 2 screws.

    2. w/o Rear Resistor Duct:


      1. Install the blower motor control with the 2 screws.

  7. INSTALL BLOWER RESISTOR (for Manual Air Conditioning System, Manual Cooler System)


    1. A01W8GZ

      Install the blower resistor with the 2 screws.
