COMPRESSOR(for 2KD-FTV) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM

  2. REMOVE FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT

    Click here

  3. DISCONNECT NO. 1 COOLER REFRIGERANT DISCHARGE HOSE


    1. Remove the bolt and disconnect the No. 1 cooler refrigerant discharge hose from the compressor assembly with magnet clutch.

      *C w/ Thermostat - -

    2. Remove the O-ring from the No. 1 cooler refrigerant discharge hose.

      Note

      Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent moisture and foreign matter from entering them.

  4. DISCONNECT SUCTION HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the bolt and disconnect the suction hose sub-assembly from the compressor assembly with magnet clutch.

    2. Remove the O-ring from the suction hose sub-assembly.

      Note

      Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent moisture and foreign matter from entering them.

  5. REMOVE COMPRESSOR ASSEMBLY WITH MAGNET CLUTCH


    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. Detach the clamp.

    3. Remove the 4 bolts compressor assembly with magnet clutch.
