  1. PRECAUTION FOR O-RINGS, PIPES AND OTHER INSTALLATION PARTS


    1. Check the O-ring.


      1. Check that it is free from cracks, dents, foreign matter and twisting.

        Use a new O-ring.

    2. Check the pipe.


      1. Check that the pipe is not damaged.

      2. Check that there is no foreign matter.

      3. Check that the pipe is not corroded.

        Tech Tips

        If the pipe is damaged or corroded, replace it with a new one.

    3. Check other installation parts.


      1. Check that other installation parts are not damaged.

      2. Check that there is no foreign matter.

      3. Check that other installation parts are not corroded.

        Tech Tips

        If the installation part is damaged or corroded, replace it with a new one.

    4. O-ring installation.


      1. Use a new O-ring.

      2. Apply a sufficient amount of compressor oil (ND-OIL8) to the O-ring.

      3. Do not use cotton gloves. Lint or other foreign matter from the gloves may stick to the O-rings and cause a refrigerant gas leak.

      4. After installing the O-ring, check that it is free from cracks, dents, foreign matter and twisting.
