FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER (for Manual Seat)


    1. Check the separate type front seat cushion cover (front seat cushion heater).

        Component without harness connected

        (Separate Type Front Seat Cushion Cover (Front Seat Cushion Heater))

        Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        A-5 - B-1

        Seat cushion heater

        temperature 20°C (68°F)

        		 6.11 to 7.46 Ω
        A-6 - B-2
        A-5 - A-6
        B-1 - B-2

        Tech Tips

        If the result is not as specified, replace the separate type front seat cushion cover (front seat cushion heater).

  2. INSPECT SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER (for Power Seat Type LH Side)


    1. Check the separate type front seat cushion cover (front seat cushion heater).

        *1 Connector A
        *2 Connector B
        *a

        Component without harness connected

        (Separate Type Front Seat Cushion Cover (Front Seat Cushion Heater))

        Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
