PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH


    1. for LHD vehicles:

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      *a Connector A *b Connector B
      *c

      Component without harness connected

      (Front Seat Inner Belt Assembly RH)

      		 - -
      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      A-2(E) - B-1 Seat belt unfastened Below 1 Ω
      A-2(E) - B-1 Seat belt fastened 10 kΩ or higher
      A-3 (+) - B-2 Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the front seat inner belt assembly RH.

  2. INSPECT FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH


    1. for RHD vehicles:

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Component without harness connected

      (Front Seat Inner Belt Assembly LH)

      		 - -
      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      A-2(E) - B-1 Seat belt unfastened Below 1 Ω
      A-2(E) - B-1 Seat belt fastened 10 kΩ or higher
      A-3 (+) - B-2 Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the front seat inner belt assembly LH.
