REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY(for Seat Cushion Bench Type) DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY


    1. Detach the No. 1 fold seat stopper band assembly from the stay of the rear seat headrest assembly.

    2. Remove the 2 rear seat headrest assemblies.

  2. REMOVE REAR SEAT CENTER HEADREST ASSEMBLY (w/ Center Headrest)


    1. Remove the rear seat center headrest assembly.

  3. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT ASSEMBLY

      w/o Center Headrest:

      Detach the claw and remove the 4 rear No. 1 seat headrest support assemblies.

      B0069FO Remove in this Direction

      w/ Center Headrest:

      Detach the claw and remove the 6 rear No. 1 seat headrest support assemblies.

  4. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD


    1. Detach the hooks.

      B0068NX Remove in this Direction (2)

      Pull out the rear end of the rear seatback cover with pad in remove in this direction (1) shown in the illustration.

    3. Lift up in remove in this direction (2) shown in the illustration to remove the rear seatback cover with pad.

  5. REMOVE NO. 1 SEATBACK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the 12 hog rings and No. 1 seatback cover sub-assembly from the No. 1 seatback pad.

  6. REMOVE SEAT COVER WIRE


    1. Remove the seat cover wire.

  7. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD

      Detach the hook.

    2. Pull out the 2 fasteners.

      Open the 2 fasteners.

    4. A01LDHL

      Pass the No. 1 fold seat stopper band assembly through the hole of the No. 1 seat cushion cover sub-assembly.

      Remove the rear seat cushion cover with pad from the No. 1 seat cushion frame sub-assembly.

  8. REMOVE NO. 1 SEAT CUSHION COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the 24 hog rings and No. 1 seat cushion cover sub-assembly from the No. 1 seat cushion pad.

  9. REMOVE SEAT COVER WIRE


    1. Remove the seat cover wire.

  10. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER RH

      B0069FO Remove in this Direction (1)
      B0068NX Remove in this Direction (2)

      Pull in removal direction (1) shown in the illustration to detach the claw.

    2. Pull in removal direction (2) shown in the illustration to detach the guide and remove the rear seat cushion cover RH.

  11. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER LH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the RH side.

  12. REMOVE NO. 1 SEAT CUSHION FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 2 bolts, 2 bushes and No. 1 seat cushion frame sub-assembly together with the 2 rear seat cushion side brackets.

  13. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION SIDE BRACKET RH

      Remove the bolt and rear seat cushion side bracket RH.

  14. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION SIDE BRACKET LH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the RH side.

  15. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT LOCK ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 2 bolts and rear No. 2 seat lock assembly together with the No. 1 fold seat stopper band assembly.

  16. REMOVE NO. 1 FOLD SEAT STOPPER BAND ASSEMBLY

      Remove the No. 1 fold seat stopper band assembly from the rear No. 2 seat lock assembly.

  17. REMOVE REAR SEAT HINGE COVER RH

    Note


    • Perform the following only when replacing the rear seat hinge cover RH.

    • Do not reuse the rear seat hinge cover RH after removing it.

      Pull in removal direction (1) shown in the illustration to detach the claw.

    2. Pull in removal direction (2) shown in the illustration to detach the guide and remove the rear seat hinge cover RH.

  18. REMOVE REAR SEAT HINGE COVER LH

    Note


    • Perform the following only when replacing the rear seat hinge cover LH.

    • Do not reuse the rear seat hinge cover LH after removing it.
