REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY(for Seat Cushion 60/40 Split Type) INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK HOLDER RH

    Note


    • Perform the following only when replacing the rear seatback holder RH.

    • Do not reuse the rear seatback holder RH after removing it.

      B0069FO Install in this Direction

      Attach the claw to install 2 new rear seatback holder RH.

  2. INSTALL REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY


    1. Place the rear seat assembly in the cabin.

      Note


      • Installing the rear seat assembly from the vehicle must be performed by multiple people.

      • Do not damage the rear seat assembly, body exterior or vehicle interior.

      Push in the installation direction shown in the illustration and attach the hook to install the rear seat assembly.

    3. Temporarily install the rear seat assembly with the 5 bolts.

    4. Tighten the 5 bolts in the order shown in the illustration.

      Torque:
      19.5 N*m  { 199 kgf*cm, 14 ft.*lbf }

      w/o Center Headrest:

      Pass the 3 inner belt buckles through the elastic strap of the seatback and connect them to the seatback.

      w/ Center Headrest:

      Pass the 4 inner belt buckles through the elastic strap of the seatback and connect them to the seatback.

      Detach the 2 No. 1 fold seat stopper band assemblies from the stay of the rear seat headrest assembly.

    8. Return the 2 rear seat cushion assemblies to its original position to lock the 2 seat cushion locks.

      w/ Center Headrest:

      Connect the rear seat center outer belt to the buckle.
