FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY(for Bench Seat Type) DISASSEMBLY

    Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the parts may injure your hands.

  • There is risk of injury.

  • If the front seat side airbag was deployed, replace the front seat airbag assembly, separate type front seatback frame sub-assembly, separate type front seatback cover and separate type front seatback pad with the necessary parts in accordance with the extent of the collision damage.

  • Replace any other damaged parts as necessary.

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE LH


    1. A01LC27

      Remove the screw and reclining adjuster release handle LH.

  2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH

    B0068NX Remove in this Direction (2)

    1. Lift up removal direction (1) shown in the illustration to detach the guide.

    2. Pull out removal direction (2) shown in the illustration to detach the claw and remove the front seat cushion shield LH.

  3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD LH

      Lift in removal direction (1) shown in the illustration.

    2. Detach the claw.

    3. Pull out removal direction (2) shown in the illustration to remove the front seat cushion shield LH.

  4. REMOVE SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD

      Remove the 4 bolts and front seatback assembly.

      While sliding the part in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration, detach the J hook.

      B0068NX Remove in this Direction (2)

      Pull out the rear end of the seatback cover with pad in removal direction (1) shown in the illustration.

    4. Lift up removal direction (2) shown in the illustration to remove the seatback cover with pad.

  5. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER

      Remove the 4 hog rings and separate type front seatback cover.

  6. REMOVE SEAT COVER WIRE

      Remove the seat cover wire.

  7. REMOVE SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD


    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. Detach the connector clamp.

    3. A01LEU1

      Disconnect the 2 straps of the separate type front seat cushion cover from the front seat cushion frame sub-assembly LH.

    4. While sliding the part in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration, detach the J hook and remove the seat cushion cover with pad.

      B0068NX Remove in this Direction (2)

      Pull out the rear end of the seat cushion cover with pad in removal direction (1) shown in the illustration.

    6. Lift up removal direction (2) shown in the illustration to remove the seat cushion cover with pad.

  8. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER

      Remove the 7 hog rings and separate type front seat cushion cover.

  9. REMOVE SEAT COVER WIRE

      Remove the seat cover wire.
