  1. INSPECT PRE-CRASH SAFETY SYSTEM CANCEL SWITCH

    Component without harness connected

    (pre-crash safety system cancel switch)

    1. Check the resistance.


      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
        8 (ECU) - 5 (GND) pre-crash safety system cancel switch not pressed 10 kΩ or higher
        pre-crash safety system cancel switch pressed Below 1 Ω

    2. Inspect the illumination operation.

      OK
      Measurement Condition Specified Condition

      Battery positive (+) → Terminal 7 (ILL+)

      Battery negative (-) → Terminal 6 (ILL-)

      		 LED illuminates

      If the result is not as specified, replace the pre-crash safety system cancel switch.
