PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIATOR GRILLE RETAINER

  2. REMOVE HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY (ENGINE HOOD COURTESY SWITCH)

      B0068HS Bolt
      B006964 Connector

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Remove the 3 bolts.

    3. B0068A6C01
      B0069FO Remove in this Direction (1)
      B0068NX Remove in this Direction (2)

      Move the hood lock assembly (engine hood courtesy switch) in the direction of the arrow shown in the illustration.

      Note

      Do not excessively bend the hood lock control cable assembly.

      Detach the guide, disconnect the hood lock control cable and remove the hood lock assembly (engine hood courtesy switch).
