GENERATOR(for 90A Type) DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE GENERATOR PULLEY CAP


    1. A01SD9J

      Using a screwdriver, remove the generator pulley cap.

  2. REMOVE GENERATOR PULLEY WITH CLUTCH


    1. A01W8ULC01
      *a T50 "TORX" Socket Wrench

      Set SST and a T50 "TORX" socket wrench as shown in the illustration.

    2. Secure the generator assembly in a vise between aluminum plates.

    3. A01SEWAC01
      *a Hold
      *b Turn
      *c T50 "TORX" Socket Wrench

      While holding SST in place, rotate the T50 "TORX" socket wrench clockwise, and remove the generator pulley with clutch.

      Note

      Check that the generator drive end frame is secured in the vise tightly.
