GENERATOR(for 90A Type) INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL GENERATOR ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. Install the 2 generator brackets with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:

      8.4 N*m  { 86 kgf*cm, 74 in.*lbf }

   2. Install the generator assembly with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:

      43 N*m  { 438 kgf*cm, 32 ft.*lbf }

   3. Attach the 3 clamps and connect the wire harness.

   4. Connect the wire harness to terminal B with the nut.

      Torque:

      9.8 N*m  { 100 kgf*cm, 87 in.*lbf }

   5. Install the terminal cap.

   6. Connect the generator connector and attach the clamp.

   7. Connect the intake air temperature sensor connector.

2. INSTALL FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT

3. INSTALL NO. 4 AIR HOSE

   Click here

4. INSTALL BATTERY TRAY

5. INSTALL BATTERY

6. INSTALL BATTERY CLAMP SUB-ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. Install the battery clamp sub-assembly with the 2 nuts and 2 battery clamp bolts.

      Torque:

      5.4 N*m  { 55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }

7. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

   Note

   When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.
