GENERATOR(for 115A Type) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work.

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

  3. REMOVE BATTERY CLAMP SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Loosen the 2 nuts.

    2. Remove the 2 battery clamp bolts and battery clamp sub-assembly.

  4. REMOVE BATTERY INSULATOR

  5. REMOVE BATTERY

  6. REMOVE BATTERY TRAY

  7. REMOVE FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT

  8. REMOVE OIL BAFFLE PLATE

      Remove the bolt and oil baffle plate.

  9. REMOVE FRONT UPPER FENDER APRON SEAL LH

  10. REMOVE GENERATOR ASSEMBLY

      Remove the terminal cap.

    2. Remove the nut and disconnect the wire harness from terminal B.

    3. Disconnect the generator connector from the generator assembly.

    4. Remove the 2 bolts and disconnect the wire harness together with the 2 wire harness brackets.

      Disconnect the charcoal canister hose and detach the clamp.

    6. Detach the clamp and disconnect the differential hose.

    7. Detach the clamp and disconnect the wire harness.

    8. Remove the bolt and differential breather bracket.

      Remove the 2 bolts and generator bracket.

    10. B0028CC

      Remove the 2 bolts and generator assembly.
