| DTC Code | DTC Name |
|---|---|
| C2171/71 | Transmitter ID not Registered |
DESCRIPTION
The IDs of each tire pressure warning valve and transmitter are registered to the tire pressure warning ECU and receiver.
When the ECU detects that a transmitter ID code is not registered in the ECU, a DTC is stored.
| DTC No. | Detection Item | DTC Detection Condition | Trouble Area |
|---|---|---|---|
| C2171/71 | Transmitter ID not Registered | Transmitter ID code is not registered (when an ID code is unregistered for 3 minutes or more). | Tire pressure warning ECU and receiver |
(Main) is displayed on the DTC screen for the DTCs even when the 2nd set of tires is selected.
CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT
When replacing the tire pressure warning ECU and receiver, read the transmitter IDs stored in the old ECU using the GTS and write them down before removal.
It is necessary to perform initialization after registrationClick hereof the transmitter IDs into the tire pressure warning ECU and receiver if the ECU has been replaced.
