  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE REAR WHEEL

  2. DISCONNECT NO. 3 PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSEMBLY

    1. Remove the bolt and disconnect the No. 3 parking brake cable assembly from the rear spring assembly LH.

  3. REMOVE REAR SHOCK ABSORBER ASSEMBLY LH

  4. REMOVE REAR SPRING BUMPER

      Remove the 2 bolts and rear spring bumper.

  5. REMOVE REAR SPRING U BOLT

    1. Remove the 4 nuts, 4 washers, 2 U bolts and U bolt seat.

  6. REMOVE REAR SPRING BRACKET PIN SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Single Cab)


    1. A01LD73

      Remove the set bolt.

    2. A01LCQB

      Remove the nut, washer and rear spring bracket pin sub-assembly.

  7. REMOVE PIN BOLT (except Single Cab)

      Remove the nut, washer and pin bolt.

  8. REMOVE SPRING SHACKLE INNER PLATE

    1. Remove the 2 nuts, 2 washers and spring shackle inner plate.

  9. REMOVE NO. 2 SPRING SHACKLE SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Using a screwdriver, remove the No. 2 spring shackle sub-assembly.

  10. REMOVE REAR UPPER SPRING SHACKLE BUSH


    1. Using a screwdriver, remove the 2 rear upper spring shackle bushes from the vehicle frame.

  11. REMOVE REAR SPRING ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Remove the rear spring assembly LH from the vehicle body.
