AUTOMATIC DISCONNECTING DIFFERENTIAL ACTUATOR REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER

  2. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER

    Click here

  3. DRAIN DIFFERENTIAL OIL

    Click here

  4. REMOVE DIFFERENTIAL MOTOR ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect the breather hose from the differential breather tube bracket.

    2. B0027RW

      Remove the bolt and disconnect the differential breather tube bracket.

    3. B00260G

      Disconnect the differential breather hose from the front differential union.

    4. B0026GP

      Disconnect the differential oil temperature sensor connector.

    5. Remove the bolt and disconnect the bracket.

    6. B0026U6

      Disconnect the differential motor actuator connector.

    7. Remove the bolt and disconnect the bracket.

      *1 Mounting Bolt
      *2 Mounting Nut

      Support the differential with a jack.

    9. Remove the No. 1 differential mounting nut.

    10. Remove the 2 mounting bolts and 2 nuts.

    11. Lower the jack.

      Remove the 4 bolts.

    13. B0025BR

      Using a hammer, pry out the differential motor actuator assembly from the differential tube.
