FRONT DIFFERENTIAL CARRIER ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL FRONT DIFFERENTIAL CARRIER ASSEMBLY


    1. B0025L9

      Install the front No. 3 differential support to the front differential carrier assembly with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      107.9 N*m  { 1100 kgf*cm, 80 ft.*lbf }

    2. Support the front differential with a jack.

    3. Install the front differential carrier assembly.

      Install the differential mount nut.

      Torque:
      93.5 N*m  { 953 kgf*cm, 69 ft.*lbf }

      *1 Upper Differential Mount Stopper
      *2 Lower Differential Mount Stopper

      Install the upper differential mount stopper and lower differential mount stopper to the front No. 2 differential support.

      Install the front No. 2 mounting support with the 3 bolts and nut.

      Torque:
      Bolt A
      160 N*m  { 1632 kgf*cm, 118 ft.*lbf }
      Bolt B
      105 N*m  { 1071 kgf*cm, 77 ft.*lbf }

      *1 Upper Differential Mount Stopper
      *2 Lower Differential Mount Stopper

      Install the upper differential mount stopper and lower differential mount stopper to the front No. 1 differential support.

    8. B0027TYN01

      Install the front No. 1 mounting support with the 4 bolts and nut.

      Torque:
      Bolt A
      186.2 N*m  { 1899 kgf*cm, 137 ft.*lbf }
      Bolt B
      105 N*m  { 1071 kgf*cm, 77 ft.*lbf }
    9. B0026U6

      Install the bracket with the bolt.

      Torque:
      18.55 N*m  { 189 kgf*cm, 14 ft.*lbf }

    10. w/ A.D.D.


      1. Connect the differential motor actuator connector.

      Install the bracket with the bolt.

      Torque:
      18.55 N*m  { 189 kgf*cm, 14 ft.*lbf }

    12. Connect the oil temperature sensor connector.

      Connect the hose to the front differential union.

    14. B0027RW

      Install the differential breather tube bracket with the bolt.

      Torque:
      12.7 N*m  { 130 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf }

      w/ A.D.D.


      1. Connect the breather hose to the differential breather tube bracket.

    16. Lower the jack.

  2. INSTALL POWER STEERING LINK ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the power steering link assembly with the 2 bolts, 2 washers and 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      130 N*m  { 1326 kgf*cm, 96 ft.*lbf }

  3. CONNECT STEERING SLIDING YOKE

  4. INSTALL STARTER ASSEMBLY (for 1GR-FE)

  5. INSTALL EXHAUST MANIFOLD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (for 1GR-FE)

  6. INSTALL CLUTCH RELEASE CYLINDER ASSEMBLY (for Manual Transmission)

      Install the bracket with the bolt.

      Torque:
      68 N*m  { 693 kgf*cm, 50 ft.*lbf }

    2. Install the clutch release cylinder with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      11.8 N*m  { 120 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf }
