  1. INSPECT BATTERY


    1. Check the battery voltage.

      Standard voltage
      11 to 14 V
      Result
      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    NG
    OK
  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (+B AND IG TERMINAL)


    1. Turn the ignition switch off.

      Disconnect the C39 and C40 4 wheel drive control ECU connector.

    3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      C39-21 (+B) - Body ground Always 11 to 14 V
      C40-4 (IG) - Body ground Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V
      Result
      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    NG

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (GND TERMINAL)


    1. Turn the ignition switch off.

    2. Disconnect the C40 4 wheel drive control ECU connector.

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
