TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER REMOVAL

The necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization or registration) that must be performed after parts are removed, installed or replaced during the radio antenna cord removal /installation are shown below.

PROCEDURE


  1. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work Click here.

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    CAUTION:

    Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  3. REMOVE UPPER INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

  4. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

  5. REMOVE TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER

      Remove the 3 screws and telematics transceiver.

    2. Disconnect the connectors.
