  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE REAR WHEEL

  2. REMOVE REAR BRAKE DRUM SUB-ASSEMBLY

  3. REMOVE REAR AXLE HUB BOLT LH

    *a Turn
    *b Hold

    1. Temporarily install 2 nuts to the 2 rear axle hub bolts as shown in the illustration.

    2. Using SST and a brass bar or equivalent to hold the rear axle shaft, remove the rear axle hub bolt LH.

  4. INSTALL REAR AXLE HUB BOLT LH

    *1 Washer
    *2 Nut
    *a Turn
    *b Hold

    1. Install a plate washer and nut to a new rear axle hub bolt LH as shown in the illustration.

    2. Using a brass bar or equivalent to hold the rear axle shaft, install the rear axle hub bolt LH by tightening the nut.

    3. Remove the 2 nuts from the 2 rear axle hub bolts.

  5. INSTALL REAR BRAKE DRUM SUB-ASSEMBLY

  6. INSTALL REAR WHEEL
